As a new initiative TANUVAS IDP team had organised the Industry/farm/Entrepreneurial training for the 2015-16 batch students of Madras Veterinary college and Veterinary college and Research Institute, Namakkal . Industrial incubation is an opportunity offered by an employer to potential employees to work at a firm for a short period of time. It would give practical skills, workplace experience and greater knowledge of that industry

As a new initiative TANUVAS IDP team had organised the Industry/farm/Entrepreneurial training for the 2015-16 batch students of Madras Veterinary college and Veterinary college and Research Institute, Namakkal under National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP). A separate format had been developed to identify the area of interest of the students and the student’s interest was collected. Meanwhile, various successful livestock industries/farms/Entrepreneurs in different parts of India were contacted and discussion was held for conducting the training in their own yard. Student’s list and the industries list were matched and discussions were held with the students to allot them in various successful livestock Students were apprised of the industries and they were given guidelines that should be followed in the field. Around 37(33 from MVC and 4 from VC&RI, Namakkal) students had undergone training in various industries/farms in different parts of India from 02.12.2019 to 13.12.2019 . The training was organised in Nine Thematic areas based on the interest of the students like, Dairy Industry/Farming, Equine farming, Biologicals, Poultry industry/farming, Wild life, Feed industry, Companion animal practice, Large animal practice and Lab Animal Research, The industries/ farms who had joined hands with TANUVAS in moulding the students in the new journey were, Optima Poultry care, Coimbatore, SKN Poultry care Ltd. Perundurai, Equus Stud Farm, Pune, Pratap Racement Private Limited , Hyderabad, Globion Biologicals, Hyderabad, Bio Sciences Research Foundation , Chennai, Wildlife SOS Bangalore, SKS Pet Hospital chain Chennai, The Ark Pet clinic Chennai, Thirumala Dairy Products Chennai, ATK Dairy farm , Theni, Mukteshwar Stud farm, Sukhla Pet Clinic Lucknow, , Annai Poultry Feeds and Farms Thirunelveli.
