A guest lecture was arranged under NAHEP on “Higher Education and Employment opportunities abroad” for the 2015-16 batch students of Madras Veterinary College on 27/01/2020 by 5.00 PM. The lecture was delivered by Dr.Cordelia Manickam, DVM, PhD an alumni of Madras Veterinary College, currently working as Staff scientist I at Harvard Medical School, USA. About 26 final year students participated and benefited from this programme. The session started with some experience sharing followed by discussions on GRE and other exams preparation, academic planning, cross culture experience, career opportunities in academia and industries and challenges.
